Born and raised in Tucson, Gerald is a graduate of Salpointe Catholic High School, where he was a National Merit Scholar. He went on to earn his J.D. from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law, graduating summa cum laude and first in his class in 1998. While in law school, he served as an editor for the Arizona Law Review and was inducted into the Order of the Coif.

Gerald began his legal career with Meyer Hendricks & Bivens in Phoenix, then joined Snell & Wilmer LLP in 2000 — Arizona’s largest law firm — where he became a partner in 2005. In 2008, he co-founded Dorris & Giordano PLC, where he practiced until 2017 before co-founding what is now Lancer Law.
